Pharmacology

The CFAR Pharmacology Core supports domestic and international research with the overarching goal of optimizing treatment of HIV infected and co-infected patients.

Specific Aims

  1. Provide pharmacological laboratory support to the HIV/AIDS research community through: Developing innovative and state-of-the-art pharmacological methodologies.
  2. Stimulate collaborative translational research in HIV via support of CFAR initiatives including: Treatment for HIV, TB, malaria, and ancillary conditions.
  3. Provide education and training to advance progress in HIV/AIDS research by training junior investigators and research scientists focused on translational research in both domestic and international settings.
